Sage have announced the release of SageOne, a three stage web application catering for micro businesses and their accountants. This follows on from the unsuccessful trialling of SageLive in 2009.
The SageOne product has been developed from scratch and is targeted at sole traders and small businesses who struggle with their bookkeeping. The 3 versions available are a cash book module at £5 per month, an Accounts version offering invoicing, VAT and bank reconciliations, and an Accountants version allowing accountants to have access to their clients software.
Sage expect this cloud-based offering to develop in the future with more reporting, integration with SagePay and payroll being future aspects.
